This work, operating between writing and drawing, is a reflection on the dialectic process of creation.
My hand writes in my native language (Spanish) on a white sheet of A3 paper. The words describe my existential coordinates: where I am, the date, my name, birthplace, other people’s definitions of myself, and so on. As I write each word, I immediately cross it out - one word after the other, precisely, systematically, obsessively. Like an attempt to exaggerate one´s signature to the point of making it an error, an uncertainty, a contradiction inherent to its own freedom, to the human ability of destroying to then create and of creating to then destroy …
